Hi, I'm Koko, a mother of five, and I am the founder of Current. I have struggled with Lyme disease for over 15 years. My journey with handmade beaded bracelets as i sought healing from this debilitating disease. To keep my spirits up, I started making glass tila bead bracelets as I spent countless hours in bed during my recovery. What began as a simple hobby quickly became a source of joy and creativity for me. Designing unique patterns for friends and family was was a way to feel productive and to find joy and happiness, and then share it with others. My passion for creating these custom pieces, inspired by coastal aesthetics and beachy colors, soon became much more of a hobby- it was something i found joy and fulfillment in.

As my hobby grew, I realized it had the potential to be more than just a personal outlet, leading to the creation of Current.

At Current, we craft beautiful, handmade beaded bracelets that symbolize strength, resilience, and empowerment. Each piece supports others facing life's challenges, with a portion of proceeds dedicated to finding a cure and supporting others with Lyme Disease.
